A popular salad featuring crisp romaine, crunchy croutons, and a creamy Caesar dressing, optionally enhanced with anchovies for a savoury kick.

Caesar Salad

ingridients

  • 2 romaine lettuce heads, chopped

  • 50g Parmesan cheese, grated 

  • 100g croutons 

  • 4 anchovy fillets (optional)

  • For the dressing

  • 100ml mayonnaise

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Tear lettuce and place in a bowl.

  2.  Add croutons, Parmesan, and anchovies (if using).

  3. Mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, Parmesan, garlic, and Dijon mustard.

  4. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Put dressing over the salad

  6. Serve
